Brand-new family comedy The Reluctant Vampire starring Lenny Rush is coming to BBC One.
All Star Family Comedy The Reluctant Vampire Comes To BBC

Based on the books by comedy legend Eric Morecambe and adapted by Alan Partridge writers Rob and Neil Gibbons, The Reluctant Vampire starts Sunday 4 October at 6.40pm on BBC One, with the series also available on BBC iPlayer.
The six-part series follows Val, who has been raised in a traditional vampire family but discovers a rather important secret when he accidentally sees his own reflection: he isn’t actually a vampire.
By day, Val begins exploring his newly discovered human side with help from village girl Gertie, while trying to make sure the locals never discover the truth about his unusual family.
Back at the castle, he faces plenty of expectations from his vampire-obsessed dad Victor and suspicious brother Vernon, while his mum Valeeta is the only member of the family who knows the truth.
Lenny Rush leads a huge comedy cast alongside Tom Davis and Sian Clifford, with Charlie Cooper, Asim Chaudhry, Joe Wilkinson, Kiell Smith-Bynoe, Esther Smith, Bill Bailey and Ray Fearon all appearing.
Ellie May Sheridan and Gabriel Nagy also star, while comedian Ross Noble joins the cast as one of the castle’s gargoyles alongside Bill Bailey.
