Bob Mortimer And Richard Ayoade Will Front New Netflix Show

Two comedy favourites are teaming up for a brand-new Netflix show, and the idea sounds wonderfully simple.

Celebrities will be thrown into a series of mystery rooms with very little idea of what they’re actually supposed to do.

Bob Mortimer and Richard Ayoade will front Hot or Cold, a new comedy entertainment format from Zeppotron.

The pair will be joined by a line-up of celebrity contestants, although Netflix is keeping their identities under wraps for now.

Each challenge takes place inside a mysterious institution, where contestants must work out what they’re meant to do using only the room itself for help.

When they’re getting closer, the room glows red, while heading in the wrong direction turns everything blue.

The challenges will range from fairly simple tasks to much stranger situations, with the celebrities racing through different rooms in pairs.

Eventually, one pair will make it through the unusual tests to become the Hot or Cold champions.

Mortimer says spending time with Ayoade is one of his “all-time favourite things to do,” while Ayoade joked that he personally prefers “mild temperatures.”

The show will see the pair reunited after both previously appearing in Last One Laughing UK.

Netflix has yet to announce the celebrity contestants or exactly when Hot or Cold will arrive, with more details expected in due course.
