A BBC comedy favourite is finally returning after a long wait, with its second series now given an official launch date and a packed guest cast.

We’ve also got a first look at what Ellie White and Natasia Demetriou have planned when their surreal sketch show returns later this month.

Ellie and Natasia will be back on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer from Wednesday 21 October.

The new run will consist of three 30-minute episodes, once again written by and starring White and Demetriou.

Some familiar characters are making a comeback, including the Mums and Internet Nails entrepreneurs Donna and Nikki.

They’ll be joined by plenty of new characters as the pair introduce another collection of sketches.

There are some big names joining them this time too, with Steve Coogan and Sian Clifford confirmed as guest stars.

Jamie Demetriou will also appear, alongside Asim Chaudhry, Kiell Smith-Bynoe and Hugh Skinner.

Vikki Pepperdine and Dustin Demri-Burns are among the other guests announced for series two, with Barney White and Seb Cardinal also appearing.

Ellie and Natasia joked that their guests were chosen because they were the “funniest and best looking” people who made the cut.

Ellie and Natasia series two launches Wednesday 21 October on BBC iPlayer and BBC Two.
