One of comedy’s most unpredictable live performers is heading back on the road this autumn, and this time there’s a very good reason for him to look back at some of the chaos he’s created over the years.
Jason Byrne is celebrating an incredible 30 years in stand-up with his new show 30 Years Byrning, which has already enjoyed a full Edinburgh Festival run and is now preparing to head around the UK.
The major tour begins in Norwich on 24 September before travelling around the country through the autumn, with the final currently announced performance taking place in Dunfermline on 20 November.
Those of us who’ve seen Jason live before can expect some familiar chaos, as old props and stunts make their return alongside new stand-up, with his famous audience interaction once again meaning that every night could head in a completely unexpected direction.
Jason says the anniversary show will be “ram packed” with ideas from the past and present, joking that audiences from years gone by can also return as he looks back over three decades of making people laugh.
